Seeking a positive, high energy, highly qualified full time Associate Veterinarian, with a minimum of 2 year experience, to join our AAHA accredited small animal 4 doctor practice. We are located in beautiful sunny Klamath Falls Oregon. Klamath Falls is located about 25 miles north of the California border in central southern Oregon. With over 300 days per year of sunshine, surrounding lakes and mountains there is plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy. We are a very busy, fast paced small animal clinic, currently caring for mostly dogs and cats and few pocket pets. We are open 6 days a week and see an average of 60 patients per day. With the closest emergency/specialty hospital 1 ½ hours away, we handle emergencies, perform around 10-15 surgeries and up to 3-4 dentals each day. Administer medications - including vaccines, when authorized by veterinarian. Care for Boarding Animals - we have a very small boarding facility and everyone helps with the care and feeding of the boarders. Most boarders are kitties. Clinic cleaning and maintenance - typical clinic cleaning and maintenance of the areas under your care. Daily call backs - Call clients daily to insure compliance, satisfaction, and to answer any concerns they may have. Other duties and typical roles for a tech as assigned by management.
