We are looking for a warm, dedicated veterinary technician who will help our doctors and clients take the best care of pets. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 1-2 years experience in the field, is confident about their skills but is always looking to improve and learn. Good communication skills with clients and coworkers are a must. Your job will require good patient handling (with intelligence and confidence not force), good vena puncture technique, ability to calculate drug dosages and induce and monitor anesthesia, placing IV catheters, ability to take diagnostic films. These are the skills that will be evaluated during a working interview to determine your starting salary. We are willing to train someone who wants to take this on as a career path and is willing to put the time and personal effort to learn. FT including some evenings and Saturdays 9-1 pm. All team players are eligible for regular bonuses based on whole practice success and their individual contribution to such. Starting salary depends on your experience and abilities.
