Our practice is located in New York, NY. We are one block away from Central Park on the Upper West Side. 

Practice Overview

Gotham Veterinary Center is a privately owned, small animal practice. Since opening in November 2009, our focus has been on creating a community of patients and their owners that seek excellent, comprehensive, and compassionate care. We are proud to be a fully AAHA accredited hospital. We not only provide medical and surgical care, but we also offer advanced dental services and rehabilitation for pets needing help post-surgery or in dealing with mobility problems too.

What You’ll Be Working On

  • Ensure the highest standards of customer service are delivered to our clients
  • Partner with the owner and Operations Manager to establish priorities, strategies, and policies to drive success
  • Oversee and ensure appropriate inventory and procurement throughout the practice
  • Develop, maintain and analyze reports on practice growth, finances, and performance
  • Support the human resources function including recruiting, onboarding, training, and development of staff
  • Coordinates scheduling of veterinarians and staff
  • Responsible for safety and facility management
  • Be up for the occasional wild card!


  • Bachelors Degree required
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a supervisor or management role within a medical or veterinary practice
  • Experience in business and accounting, can plan budgets and monitor finances
  • Strong leadership skills, ability to supervise and delegate responsibilities
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Conflict management skills—mediate and resolve client issues and concerns
