A successful career as a veterinarian at Animal Emergency Care requires: Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine Washington State Licensure Minimum of two-year's clinical experience Desire to always seek the highest standards of medicine for our patients Ability to approach each patient, co-worker, and pet parent with compassion Drive to expand your mind at every opportunity Veterinarians are encouraged to practice medicine to the fullest extent of her or his ability providing our hospital has the necessary assets to accomplish these goals. AEC partners with a specialty veterinary hospital allowing for a great opportunity of expansion and growth. All employees are provided the following benefits: Set schedules Paid time off up to 120 hours annual based on work load with 80 hours allowed to roll over annually Life insurance equivalent to annual salary, paid entirely by employer Long term disability insurance, paid entirely by employer Simple IRA with matching up to 3% contribution by employer after two years employment Veterinary health benefits Paid Licensure Fees Uniform Allowance ($50.00 part time, $100.00 full time) and AEC branded jacket provided CE Allowance ($1500.00 annually) in addition to company sponsored programs. Full time employees are provided the following benefits: Medical Insurance, 75% employer paid Dental Insurance, 75% employer paid Vision Insurance, 75 % employer paid Paid Memberships (IVECCS, AVMA, VIN) Full-time veterinarians must work 28 hours a week on average over each quarter including paid time off and training times. Part-time positions will also be considered. Veterinarians are paid an hourly rate with holiday and overtime pay.
