Cats only for over 45 years. Our mission is to educate clients on cat husbandry and nutrition in order to prevent disease. We use a combination of standard medicine with naturopathic and nutritional treatments to provide a whole body approach to patient care. Our doctors work as a team to developed a written treatment protocol in order to provided standard recommendations to all our patients. You will be a part of developing and updating treatment protocols. You will be responsible for preventative and sick exams, diagnostic and treatment plans, management of chronic disease, basic soft tissue surgery and basic dentistry. We have a strong mentoring program and love sharing and discussing interesting cases. Excellent communication skills are a must. You need to be able to translate medical information to non-medical clients. You must be calm, quiet and patient to work with cats and be willing to give "happy drugs" to those patients too stressed and scared to be handled. We work as a team to give our clients the best experience and our patients the best health.We are looking for 20-35 hours/ week. You need a life outside of work. No Sunday or after hour call. Medical, dental, retirement, AVMA, PVMA, AAFP, liability insurance and paid CE for full time employees. Must have a veterinary degree from an accredited veterinary school and be able to obtain a license to practice veterinary medicine in Pennsylvania to apply.
